About the Campaign
The Murhesa Neurosurgical Center is organizing a humanitarian surgical campaign aimed at providing free or low-cost surgical care to vulnerable populations in South Kivu and surrounding areas.
The campaign will address common but often untreated surgical conditions while strengthening local medical capacity.
Purpose of the Volunteer Mission
We are seeking motivated communication and media volunteers to support:
- Documentation of campaign activities,
- Media production and digital engagement,
- Ethical storytelling that highlights the human impact of the campaign.
Volunteers will play a key role in raising awareness and amplifying the reach of this humanitarian initiative.
Volunteer Profiles & Skills
We are building a complementary team. Volunteers may have one or more of the following skills:
- Photography and videography
- Video editing and montage
- Graphic design (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
- Content creation (visuals, videos, stories)
- Community management (Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, X)
- Writing and storytelling (captions, impact stories)
Languages
- French or English: Required
- Swahili: Desirable (not mandatory)
Onsite Participation (Optional)
Volunteers who are able to participate onsite will benefit from:
- Accommodation provided
- Local transportation provided
- Meals provided
- Sports, cultural, and recreational activities organized during the campaign
What Volunteers Gain
